ABANDON Graphic Novel
ABANDON is a graphic novel in the works. In it I seek to tell a story of a sprouting new hope on the compost of our slowly rotting civilisation.
I’m putting the reader inside a Megastructure, which artificiality and emptiness is the backdrop for the protagonists struggles in their life-affirming stories. I play with, but turn upside-down, the themes of the classic fatalistic Cyberpunk genre, and I am countering it with a realistic optimism, without overting our eyes from inner and outer abysses. Continuing with the genre terms: I’m combining the optimism of → Solarpunk with the non-naïveté of → Lunarpunk.
I’m currently (early December 2025) working on the first chapter, and I’m looking for an editor or co-author, who could help me working on the script of the following chapters. With these I will search for a publisher.
